Teva Pharmaceutical Hong Kong Limited Voluntarily Recalls One Batch of Co-Codamol 8/500mg Tablets

Hong Kong, 30 June 2026 — Teva Pharmaceutical Hong Kong Limited is conducting a voluntary retail-level recall in Hong Kong of Co-Codamol 8/500mg Tablets (500’s) (Hong Kong Registration No.: HK-33414), batch CH2734.

This recall was initiated because the impurities levels exceeded the specification in the affected batch. Out of prudent consideration for product quality and patient safety, Teva voluntarily recalled the above batch from the market as a precautionary measure.

Teva has informed affected customers to identify and segregate any remaining stock of this batch and arrange for return. Patients who have this batch of product and have any questions about their medication are advised to consult their doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional.

Patient safety remains Teva’s top priority. Teva will continue to proceed with this recall in accordance with relevant requirements and maintain communication with affected customers and other relevant parties to support the orderly implementation of the recall.
